Stay - Kaziranga National Park

On the day of arrival at Guwahati, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to Kaziranga National Park. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Kaziranga National Park.

Stay - Kaziranga National Park

Early in the morning, enjoy an elephant safari in the western ranges of the national park. The main attraction of this wildlife park, includes one-horned Rhinoceros, tiger, wild buffalo, elephant, variety of deer, python, and variety of migratory birds. Also spend some quality time at the Donga view point, situated in western zone. After Elephant Safari, drive back to the hotel for refreshment. In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari inside the Kaziranga national park for wildlife viewing in the central zone. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Shillong

Early in the morning, enjoy a jeep safari in the National Park and later get back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, drive to Shillong via Guwahati. On the way, halt at Barapani Umiam Lake - a reservoir and a majestic placid lake located in the hills 15 km to the North of Shillong. The lake serves as a major tourist attraction and a popular destination for water sport and adventure facilities. Tourists visit this spot for kayaking, water cycling, scooting and boating. Later continue your drive to Shillong for night stay.

Stay - Cherrapunjee

After breakfast, leave for Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee officially known as Sohra, is the wettest destination in the world. Upon arrival at Cherrapunjee, check in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel and later visit the famous Nohsngithiang Falls, Nohkalikai fall, Mawsmai Cave. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Shillong

After breakfast, visit the two-tier living Root Bridge (made of the roots of a living tree) connecting a chasm with a pool of jade water below. The two tiers measure 59ft and 83 ft in length respectively. The trek to this double Decker is tough but worth the pains. The trek from the hotel will take around 5 to 6 hours. The route is replete with a small village, Mawlynnong Village. At Mawlynnong Village, you can relax and explore rural life. Later transfer to Shillong. Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

Stay - Guwahati

After breakfast proceed for "Shillong sightseeing tour", visit the Ward Lake and Hydari Park. Later, drive to Guwahati. Upon arrival at Guwahati, check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel and in the evening enjoy sunset boat cruise on River Brahmaputra. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Today early in the morning, you may visit Kamakhya Devi Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas, situated on the Nilachal Hill in western part of Guwahati. Later transfer to the Guwahati airport to board the flight to your home or onward destination.
